Mike's Learning Story
I noticed you and your friends, Chris and Greg, having a great time in the sandpit. You were excitedly talking about rugby, telling them that you were the best flanker in the world. Even though everyone knows that Chris claims that title, you continued to play happily together, enjoying each other's company. It was lovely to see you cooperating with them, especially since this was the first time I saw you engaging so nicely with your friends.
This moment shows that you are developing strong oral language skills and using your imagination creatively. It's wonderful to see you confidently express your thoughts and ideas while interacting with your peers. Your cheerful attitude and willingness to play together indicate that you are building relationships and learning to collaborate. It also reflects your emerging social dispositions, which are important as you navigate your friendships.
Tomorrow, I will observe you in the sandpit again to see how you continue to play with your friends. Based on what I see, I might let you join Ana and Catherine in a new activity. I also plan to introduce swimming lessons soon, as I think that will be another exciting opportunity for you to explore and learn with others.

"OK, I was in the sandpit and I saw Mike and Chris and Grek playing nicely. And that was really good. I noticed that Mike was talking about rugby and how he was the best flanker in the world. This showed me that he was developing some oral language skills and a very enthusiastic imagination because everybody knows that Chris is the best flanker in the world, not Mike. But Mike continued to play cheerfully with Chris and Greg, and it was the first time that he played nicely. Please take his Greek was usually having a beer and. Christmas is usually down the road."
